The Sanyo VPC-GH4 records full HD 60i videos and can capture 10 megapixel photos. It delivers 10X dual zoon for videos and 5x optical zoom for photographs. It has a very lightweight traditional horizontal design which is designed to fit nicely into the palm of a hand.
For ease of access, making videos, taking photos and accessing the settings in the menu can be all accessed by the users thumb. With the embedded software application, you can share your photos on popular social media sites. You can tag your photos with the software and upload them to Youtube, Picassa, and Facebook.
With the specialized video/photo face detection, the camera can recognize multiple faces of subjects and then optimize the focus settings to make sure that everyone’s faces are in the right focus. It will track and focus on moving subjects like pets or children by detecting colors. Even when you shut the LCD panel temporarily, the tracking will continue once you carry on shooting again.

Unlike cheap HD cameras that have a pinhole lens with digital expansion, the Sanyo GH4 has a professional lens that can zoom in and out properly. The picture quality is excellent – the colors are lush and the shades are definable.
The device is very versatile but the battery life is poor. It can get weak pretty fast depending on your settings. If you have it set on full 1080p quality, this will take its toll on the battery. It’s recommended that you buy extra batteries and a car adaptor.
Connecting to PC is very easy, it’s a simple drag and drop into you preferred software to make any required adjustments and then upload your media to your website of choice.
